PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION. The purpose of this policy is to explain how CRST Logistics, Inc. collects, protects and uses personal information. CRST Logistics, Inc. is an affiliate of CRST International, Inc. and the entities that make up the CRST Carrier Group (collectively, "CRST"). CRST is committed to insuring that any personal information supplied by its customers or generated as a result of its business activities is collected and used with full disclosure in accordance with applicable law. Your use of the CRST websites (collectively, the "Web Site"), either by browsing the Web Site, by submitting requests for information or requesting a shipping quote, constitutes your consent and agreement to the terms and conditions stated in this Privacy Policy, as it may be amended from time to time.
2. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES CRST COLLECT? The information which CRST collects depends on what you do when you visit the Web Site. CRST collects no personal information from you except that information which you voluntarily choose to provide to CRST, for example, by filling out any forms, request for information, request for quotes or sending an e-mail (collectively, "Customer Information"). In addition to the Customer Information that you provide, CRST will also collect information that is not personally identifiable but is gathered from your access and use of the Web Site and from your web browser ("Browser Information"). This information is automatically provided to CRST by your web browser.
CRST collects and stores the following which constitutes "Customer Information":
- Name, company name, address, contact information;
- Shipping information;
- Anything else you voluntarily provide to CRST through the Web Site or by any other means.
CRST collects and stores the following Browser Information:
- The numeric IP address from the computer that you used to access the Web Site;
- The type of browser and operating system used to access the Web Site;
- The date and time of access;
- The pages you visit;
- The graphics downloaded or other documents downloaded;
- Any links that you select and other browsing habits while on the Web Site;
- Any third party web site that you used to access the Web Site, for example, if you accessed the Web Site using a commonly available search engine such as Google or Yahoo;
- Any web site you visit as you leave the Web Site;
CRST does not link any of the Browser Information to any Customer Information which you voluntarily provide to CRST.
3. CRST'S USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. CRST may use any of the Customer Information which CRST has gathered from the Web Site through your voluntary entry or that CRST has gathered by other means, for example, orders that you have previously placed with or through CRST, inquiries for information, third party information lists or other data that CRST's marketing department gathers. All of this information is used to provide the services that CRST offers to you. In addition, CRST may use this information to improve the level and type of services that CRST offers. Once you have received material from CRST, for example an email newsletter, and you no longer desire to receive it, please email CRST to opt-out or follow the procedures to Opt-out contained in the material you received. Your submission of Customer Information shall be deemed an act of "opting-in" to any and all communications sent by CRST to you. CRST may analyze any personal information either in aggregate or on an individual level for trends, sales analysis or statistics.
CRST may use Customer Information from time to time to inform customers and potential customers about CRST and the products, services or promotions that CRST may offer. This may be via direct mail, direct fax, broadcast e-mail or direct one-on-one sales contact.
4. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. CRST will not knowingly disclose individual Customer Information to any third party. However, CRST may disclose Customer Information in an aggregate format. Further, CRST may share and exchange Customer Information and Browser Information amongst the CRST Carrier Group and with any other present or future affiliates or business partners. CRST may disclose Customer Information if CRST has a good faith belief that compliance with the law so requires. There are no restrictions on CRST's disclosure or use of Browser Information.
5. CONFIDENTIALITY. None of the Customer Information or Browser Information shall be treated as confidential by CRST and you should not disclosed such information to CRST if it is to be treated as confidential. No Customer Information or Browser Information is encrypted or protected in any way. Your submission of information to CRST indicates your acceptance and acknowledgement that the information is not confidential or encrypted.
6. POLICY UPDATES. CRST will periodically update its Privacy Policy as the services offered through its website warrant. As stated above, your use of the Web Site constitutes your acknowledgement and consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to your acknowledgement and consent to any future amendment to the Privacy Policy. Please be aware that any amendment will retroactively apply to Customer Information and Browser Information. CRST has no obligation to advise you of amendments, therefore you should periodically review this Privacy Policy. The date of release is identified above. This Privacy Policy is not intended to and does not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party.
